1. How old are your main characters?
A. About seventeen. We're not sure how old Leucadia is, but she looks their age.
Simon & Monday mid twenties. And Mowgi? Not even God knows how old he is.
2. Is the Gamadin Series in the AR (Accelerated Reader) Program?

3. For what age group would you recommend Gamadin?
A. We're serious when we say ages 11 to 111 but anyone who can read Harry Potter
will enjoy the Gamadin series.
4. It's hard to get my boys to read anything. Is Gamadin Series for them?
A. Even the "I don't read nuthin'" boys will find Gamadin fun to read because
it's a character-driven story with cool, tough surfers in a fast-paced,
high adventure novel. Having said that, Gamadin is gender neutral.
Both boys and girls enjoy reading the Gamadin Series.
5. Are there strong role models for girls and boys?
A. Yes. On the male side, Harlowe is fearless, tough and honorable, risking
it all for the life of his girlfriend, his crew, and the planet. The female lead
characters, such as Leucadia and her mother, Sook, are intelligent,
independent and strong. Tom believes good role models are essential
for all young readers.
6. Is it hardcore sci-fi?
A. No, that's what makes it so appealing to kids and adults across the board.
Even non-science fiction readers enjoy the series.
7. Is there any explicit sex or offensive language?
A. No. It's clean, but there are a couple of bad beasties that lose their heads.
8. How many books do you plan for the Gamadin series?
A. Good question. Short answer is unknown at this time. There are seven books,
three short-stories, and one non-fiction book in the Series with two more novels
in the works. Tom says as long as the Series stays fresh and fun, he will continue
writing the fast-paced, action-filled Series for all ages.
9. What format do the Gamadin books come in?
A: The Gamadin books come in all formats Hardback, Paperback, and Digital ebooks.
10. Are there "free" samples of the Gamadin books?
A. Yes, on the "Free Stuff" page you will find the first 50 pages of each book to download
at no cost, along with two free short stories, Stinky's Island and Incident@Base5, plus a
12min. audio clip of the Book 1, Gamadin: Word of Honor audio play. Enjoy!
11. Is there a Gamadin presence on Facebook?
A. Yes, the Gamadin FB page is a great way to stay up-to-date on the goings-on
of the Series. Be sure and pound the "LIKE" button while your there.
12. Why did Book 5 & Book 6 come out in paperback instead of hardback? My collection
of Gamadin Books is now a mix of hardbacks and paperbacks. Will there there be
hardbacks printed of Books 5 & 6?
A. Yes, 'hardback' editions of Books 5 & 6 are now available at the Gamadin Store.
The reason for the delay was simply cost. The price of printing hardback books
has skyrocketed. Fortunately, Barnes & Noble's Nook Printing has made it possible
to print a HB editions at a reasonable price, albeit, slightly higher cost than
earlier books. The Gamadin Crew will always strive to keep the price and
print quality the best it can be for the future editions of the Gamadin books, as well.
